This is a Howarth oboe, a prestigious brand from the UK! A trial performance video has been uploaded, and this instrument is ready to play immediately! [Repairs Performed] Replacement of faulty pads and key corks Complete disassembly, adjustment, and polishing Complete replacement of joint corks Tone hole cleaning, oiling, etc. [Details on Tone and Playing Feel] All keys are covered keys, eliminating the need to cover holes, making fingering very easy. The instrument features a keyless third octave, resulting in a simple structure with fewer keys and tone holes. This allows for better airflow and a straightforward playing feel. Furthermore, the third octave range can be easily played by substituting the first octave key. Convenient features such as the left F key and H-C# trill system are included, and the key layout is well-designed, making the instrument easy to hold. Overall, this is an easy-to-play instrument with good responsiveness, making it user-friendly. It is recommended not only for beginners starting the oboe but also for those returning to the instrument after a long break. [Accessories Included] Case 2 Reeds (adjusted for this instrument) [Recommended For:] Those who want to start playing the oboe Those who want to play as a hobby or as a secondary instrument Those who want to use it in a school band or orchestra, or as an instrument for such an ensemble [About Woodwind Instruments Currently Listed] These instruments have been repaired and adjusted by a current private workshop repairman who previously worked at a musical instrument store. The quality differs from products listed elsewhere as maintained or operation confirmed. While the price may be slightly higher than the market price for used instruments, it is significantly more affordable than having a used instrument repaired at a music store. A flyer with our workshop's contact information will be included upon shipment. We offer post-purchase adjustments, so you can buy with confidence! Additionally, a free overall adjustment is included within one year of purchase. If you would like to hear a trial performance, please search for my account name online. [About Shipping] To prevent tuning shifts due to vibration, adjustments will be made to the tuning screws before shipping. The instrument will undergo final inspection, re-adjustment, and wiping before shipment. [About Price Reductions] We do not offer price reductions for transactions on Mercari. [About Product Condition] The product condition is honestly described. By purchasing, you agree to the terms stated in the description. Please understand that this is a used item.
