Ultra-Vintage A. ZILDJIAN & CIE CONSTANTINOPLE CYMBALS 14-inch Hi-Hat Set This is an extremely rare hi-hat set from the early days of Zildjian, dating back to the 1930s to early 1940s, featuring the Old Style Stamp used for a very short period. This museum-quality set is a true collector's item. A matched set of 14-inch cymbals from this era is incredibly rare and rarely appears on the market. 1. Basic Information - Brand: A. ZILDJIAN & CIE CONSTANTINOPLE CYMBALS - Estimated Era: Early 1930s to early 1940s (Based on the stamp, it is estimated to be an early model manufactured by Zildjian in the United States) - Size: 14 inches (approx. 36cm diameter) - Weight: 800g, 1000g (1kg) - This vintage hi-hat has an ideal weight difference, delivering a heavy and impactful attack. 2. Sound and Appeal - Ultimate Rarity: This is an original model from Zildjian's roots, over 80 years old, and the stamp itself is a very rare historical artifact. - Sound: Characterized by a vintage sound that is dry, deep, and has complex overtones. The heavy bottom creates a tight foot close, resulting in a powerful and dry sound. 3. Condition - Due to its age, there is significant wear and tear overall, including dullness, verdigris, dirt, and edge wear, which gives this vintage cymbal its unique character. - There are no cracks or keyhole cracks that would cause critical damage to the performance. 4. Purchasing Information - Please purchase only if you understand that this is an ultra-vintage item that is over 80 years old. Please check the condition in the photos.
