This is an unlined tsumugi silk kimono dyed with safflower, which beautifully catches the spring light. ■About this kimono Tall Size: With a sleeve-to-center back length of 69cm and a total length of 163cm, it can be worn comfortably in modern sizing. ■Size (cm/Japanese units) Total Length: Approx. 163cm (4 shaku 3 sun) Sleeve-to-center back length: Approx. 69cm (1 shaku 8 sun 3 bu) Sleeve Length: Approx. 49cm (1 shaku 3 sun) Front Width: Approx. 24.6cm (6 sun 5 bu) Back Width: Approx. 29.5cm (7 sun 8 bu) Material: 100% Silk Safflower Dye Color: Not just a simple yellow, but a deep and beautiful hue created by the complex layering of colors unique to safflower dyeing. Unlined Construction: Can be worn from early spring to early summer, and even in autumn and winter, making it suitable for most seasons except summer. ■Condition and Reason for Selling This is a cherished piece that I had custom-made from a bolt of fabric. After wearing it, I had it professionally cleaned by a kimono specialist and have kept it carefully stored. I fell in love with the beauty of the fabric, but unfortunately, the color did not suit me, so I have decided to part with it. I hope someone who can pull off this color will enjoy this high-quality tsumugi. ■Notes for Purchase Regarding Size: Please allow for slight errors as measurements are taken by an amateur.
