A reverb with a parallel pitch shifter. Combine a shimmering reverb with a parallel pitch shifter to add airy layers and create a sparkling sound. ShimmerVerb is a shimmering reverb with a parallel pitch shifter. It's perfect for adding dreamy ambience to guitars, keys, synths, samples, and vocals. Its sound is amazing, with great features like Eventide's Ribbon and Hotswitch. You can also freeze the reverb and layer dry signal on top of the frozen reverb. With short decay settings, you can transform pianos and guitars into something more pad-like. And it comes with many presets. ShimmerVerb is a plugin FX that combines a very shimmering reverb with a parallel pitch shifter. Until now, producers have often created effects like ShimmerVerb by combining Eventide's pitch-shifting hardware such as the H910, H949, and H3000 with reverb. This production technique was popularized by Daniel Lanois and Brian Eno on U2's The Unforgettable Fire. Now, this iconic sound has been further refined and redesigned with a modern, unified interface, making it available as a single, convenient plugin. This ShimmerVerb is the perfect effect for adding a dreamy atmosphere to guitars, keys, synths, samples, and vocals. The plugin includes features such as the ability to infinitely feedback the signal in typical Eventide fashion. The result is a sound where cascading reverbs bleed into oblivion. ShimmerVerb's feedback can be further fine-tuned by specifying which frequencies to feedback via a low/mid/high crossover network. Click here for the manufacturer's site
