| Product details |
This is a Prestini oboe! It's a solid grenadilla instrument. The manufacturer still exists today and currently focuses on pads. We have a trial play video available! [Repairs Performed] All pads, key corks, and joint corks replaced Faulty springs replaced Full disassembly and adjustment Correction of all operational issues Polishing, oiling, etc. Overhauled and ready to play immediately! [Tone, Playing Feel, and Other Details] This instrument has a moderate resistance, producing a deep, soft, and slightly dark tone. Most keys are equipped, except for the 3rd octave key. It also includes keys for alternative fingerings and pitch correction. The range of the 3rd octave can be substituted using the 1st octave key. With fewer keys on the upper joint, the center of gravity is further back, making it easier to blow into and hold the instrument. Upon close inspection, there are some minor age-related pitting marks on the key plating, so please check the images. [Accessories] Case 2 reeds (adjusted for this instrument) [Recommended For] Those who want to start playing the oboe Those using it for concert bands, orchestras, or as an institutional instrument Those who want to play as a hobby [About Woodwind Instruments Currently Listed] These instruments have been repaired and adjusted by a former musical instrument store employee and current private workshop repairman. The quality of work differs from instruments simply listed as maintained or operation confirmed. While the price is set slightly higher than the used market average, it is more cost-effective than purchasing a used instrument from a store and then having it repaired. A flyer with our workshop's contact information will be included with your shipment. We are committed to ongoing support, not just a sale. We offer post-purchase adjustment support and a free overall adjustment warranty within one year of purchase, so you can buy with confidence. If you would like to hear a trial play recording, please search for my account name online. [Shipping] We take measures to prevent tuning shifts due to vibrations during transport. The instrument will be inspected, readjusted, and wiped down before shipping. [Price Reductions] We do not accept price negotiation requests on Mercari. [Product Condition] The product condition is described honestly. By purchasing, you agree to the contents of this description and acknowledge that this is a used item.
