This striking antique Seth Thomas OG weight‑driven regulator clock is a rare survivor from America’s Federal period, showcasing the craftsmanship and patriotic artistry of early 19th‑century timekeeping. Housed in a hand‑crafted solid wood case, the clock features its original upper clear glass and a stunning reverse‑painted portrait of President Andrew Jackson on the lower door—an iconic decorative element seldom found intact today. Inside, the mechanical movement retains its original weights, pendulum, and winding arbors. The clock chimes the hour with a warm, resonant tone. (See video). Vintage Clock Disclaimer: These beautiful regulator clocks have lived long, interesting lives. Because of their age, their internal movements may need adjustment or professional servicing. As such, we cannot guarantee accurate timekeeping, continuous running, or consistent pendulum motion. Many customers purchase them as décor pieces or restoration projects. Our 30‑day return policy still applies, but mechanical behavior cannot be guaranteed. The piece includes its original key and pendulum, adding to its authenticity. Standing 25.25 tall, 15 wide, and 4.5 deep, and weighing 15 lbs 4 oz, it has a commanding yet elegant presence suitable for mantels, entry tables, or historical displays. A rare and meaningful find for collectors of early American clocks, presidential memorabilia, or Seth Thomas originals. Circa: 1840s–1860s
